March 25, 2005. Boston, MA. In their newly-published lists, The Boston Business Journal placed TNCO among the area’s 25 largest medical device companies. The list, ordered by sales volume, notes that there are 264 manufacturing establishments in Massachusetts; TNCO, based in Whitman, Massachusetts, ranked twenty-third.  TNCO also placed among the 50 fastest-growing private companies in Massachusetts.

April 20, 2005. Whitman, MA. TNCO, Inc. will unveil a new line of bariatric instruments at the American Society of Bariatric Surgeons (ASBS) annual meeting. These innovative instruments facilitate insertion and closure of the lap-band during Lap-Band weight loss surgery, simplifying the procedure. They were developed by TNCO in conjunction with Daniel B Jones, MD, FACS; Dr. Jones is Chief, Section of Minimally Invasive Surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA. The ASBS meeting begins June 26th at the Gaylord Palms Resort in Orlando, Florida; the TNCO booth will feature video demonstrations of these specialized new instruments, as well as physical prototypes.
